The majestic tropical rainforest is still preserved here where Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course designer punched through the  foliage of green to create this stunning masterpiece. Most of the fairways hugged the graceful shoreline where gentle sea breeze and white sandy beaches come in play. The signature hole, hole no. 13 as sculpted along the magnificent South China Sea that will never cease to amaze even the most cynical golfer.

The first nine was designed in such a way that aggressive tee off has to be measured or your ball could end up deep inside the jungle. The second nine on the other hand, has its own idiosyncrasies where it was carved besides the South China Sea. Sometimes, the golfers refer this second nine as Pebble Beach of South East Asia.

DGCR is co-located in a resort environment with a wide range of recreational activities that allow their family members to join their golf vacations. Golf packages with accommodations are available. Journey to Desaru via Ferry from Changi Ferry Terminal in Singapore is possible. By land, via Causeway and Second link will take approximately two hours while the ferry journey will take about half hour only.
