Comments: Comparatively flat course that is easy on the legs... Attractive layout runs through the Ratho Pork estate with lots of flowers in bloom around the course during the summer months... Didn't find the fairways all that wide at times, but they were never tight enough to make me feel really inhibited... Pleasant, if not all that challenging ... The clubhouse is a beautiful 19th-century building... Especially enjoyed the short 15th... Measuring 161 yards and played downhill to a green that is almost completely surrounded with bunkers, it's not surprising to discover that the hole is named Sandy Hollow.

Comments: Highly conditioned...Fairways like greens at some clubs... Magnificent... Accuracy more important than distance... Historic course with many nice features... Greens superb.
