Comments: There are three public golf courses at Hazelhead with No.1 being the best of the bunch. . . An interesting parkland layout running through a tree-lined estate...Not too tight and can flatter your game if you are playing well... Originally designed by the famous golf-course architect Alister Mackenzie, who also created Augusta National. . . Good value for money. . . Toughest hole on the course is the 435-yard 14th with out-of-bounds on the right and trees on the left... Best of the four short holes is the 177 -yard 5th, where the tee shot has to carry a deep valley directly in front of the green.
