Comments: Fairly dour parkland course. . . Had to wait until the 18th for the best hole... Overshadowed by the other Waterford (Castle) . . . Pleasant enough, but I like a challenge ... Humdrum parkland course... Fine day out and the company is excellent.

Comments: Des Smyth design...On-site hotel a real treat, albeit expensive... Large greens... Unremarkable land on which to build a course... Course sits on island in the River Suir... A flat, featureless course... Wide open­get your driver out... Clever design... With such flat, boring land it's a credit to Smyth for his design.
