Comments: A Robert Trent Jones classic... Huge moulding gives this a very un-Irish feel... Not what you go to Ireland for. . . Not your typical Irish course... Very American, but who cares? ... Very hard going, like the K Club... Superb course with good bunkers and plenty of water. . . Greens soft spikes only.

Comments: Day fee is round on each course. . . Great job by Robert Trent Jones... Even though it was designed by an American, there is a magically Irish feel to this course. . . Old course knocks it into a cocked hat... Enjoyed it but was thinking about the Old course. . . More difficult than the Old. . . A lot bleaker than the Old course but just as enjoyable... Amazing that this course should feel so ancient.
