Comments: Nobble your opening tee shot and the ball just scampers down the hill... Great variety at this exclusive bolt-hole near Marlow. .. The punch bowl green at the 12th throws out the rulebook . . . Some monster par-4s with long iron approaches. .. A fine parkland course with great value and service... Lovely autumn course when the colors are so bold... 11 th is the toughest hole here.

Comments: Goes on forever. .. Decent value. .. Long and not that interesting. . . Expected heath and heather but got a flat­tish, nondescript course... Not blessed with area's fine scenery. .. Good value... Easy walking for a long course. . . Par-55th is one of longest in England at over 600 yards. . . Get a buggy... Long par-5 is just a joke.

Comments: Views overlooking the River Thames towards Cliveden don't disguise how average this course is . . . Straightforward course with many uninteresting holes... Very open, bad shots not always punished. .. Not on my list in Berkshire.
