Designed by William P. Bell. Woodland Hills is an undulating layout with narrow fairways outlined by trees. Although keeping the ball in the fairway is imperative, the greens are the real story. They are small, quick, and slope front to back. Short and demanding, this is a shot-maker's paradise. From downtown Los Angeles (about 25 miles northwest to the course): Take US 101 north. Take the Canoga exit and turn left, going under the freeway. Cross over Ventura Boulevard. Turn left at Dumetz Road. The club is on the right.

Designed by Army Corps of Engineers. Although there is water on seven holes, players will find the fairways large. The greens are expansive and straightforward. From west Los Angeles (about 15 miles north to the course): Take the San Diego Freeway (I-405) north. Exit at Victory and head west. Turn left on Woodley to the course.
