Designed by Norman Macbeth. This
old, classic tree-lined course has hosted the Senior PGA Tour. A barranca runs through fourteen of its
fairways. The par-4 finishing hole has long been
considered on of the area's best. From
downtown Los Angeles: Take the Santa Monica Freeway
(I10) west, exit at Crenshaw and head north. Turn
left on Wilshire and then right on Rossmore. The
entrance is at the first driveway on the left just
past Beverly Boulevard.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr,
Robert Trent Jones Jr. This is a beautiful and
rugged course set in the Sierra foothills. The
fairways are rolling and flanked by mature native
oaks. The course appears as if it has been there for
years. From the back tees, the scratch golfer will
be emotionally and physically drained, but will want
to come back again. Soon. Reciprocal play with
other members-only clubs is allowed. From Sacramento (about 45 miles
northeast to the course): Drive east on I-80 to
Auburn. Take the Clipper Gap/Meadow Vista exit and
go north one mile. Turn west on Sugar Pine Road; the
course is on the left. There are any number of
"Wow!"
tee shots on this narrow, hilly
layout. This layout jumps to the top of the
Sacramento area courses.
