Designed by Ted Robinson. Forget
using your driver on many of the holes, just put it
in the fairway and you will do OK. The course is
flat, flanked by trees, and has several lakes and
views of the Santa Monica Mountains. From
downtown Los Angeles (about 41 miles northwest to
the course): Take US 101 north, exit at Lindero
Canyon, and turn left. Turn right on Agoura Road and
then right on Lakeview Canyon Road. The course is on
the right.

Designed by Robert Muir Graves, Damian Pascuzzo. The
front nine of West ridge is very difficult, which
may be the result of not enough land. You seem to be
punished for the slightest error, especially around
the green. Cut out of the hillside, the holes are
narrow off the tee and continue to narrow the
closer you get to the greens. Miss the fairway and
you might find yourself out-of-bounds and in
environmentally sensitive areas. The back nine is
more open, hilly, and scenic. Both nines afford some
good views of the surrounding area. Carts are
included in the green fees. From Anaheim (about
eight miles north to the course): Take I-5 north,
exit onto Beach Boulevard, and head north. Turn
right at Imperial Highway. Make another right on
South La Habra Hills Drive to the club. The staff
was friendly, the course was well maintained, and
the price was reasonable during the week. Although
we thought the front nine was funky and a little
extreme, it's worth playing to form your own
opinion.
