Designed by Lawrence Hughes, William P. Bell. Barrancas throughout the course make accuracy a must. Although they don't create many forced carries, they create a severe punishment for the golfer who can't hit straight. The course roams through the hillside of a residential community. The quick, smaller greens will make two-putting a challenge for those who leave the ball above the hole. From downtown Los Angeles (about 33 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east, exit at Via Verde, and go left at the stop sign. Turn right onto Via Verde. Turn left on Avenida Entrada. Make another left at the fourth stop sign, to the club.

Designed by Charles E. Maud, William P. Bell. This is an old course, built around 1 903. Set in a canyon, the course has rolling terrain and plays up and down. There is a ditch running throughout the course. The greens are good sized. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From within Riverside: Off Highway 91, exit at Central and head east about one and one-half miles. Turn left on Victoria and then right on Arroyo Drive to the club.
