Designed by unknown. Van Nuys has an 18-hole pitch-and-putt course and a nine-hole executive course. Both are excellent starter courses. Yardage listed is for the nine-hole executive course. From west Los Angeles (about 15 miles north to the course): Take the San Diego Freeway (I-405) north. Exit at Victory Boulevard and go west. Turn right on Odessa Avenue, to the course.

Designed by unknown. This is an attractive, rolling par-3 course with no sand or water. The course is lighted for night play. From downtown Los Angeles (about 18 miles north to the course): Take Highway 2 north to I-210 west. Take the Lowell exit and go straight. By continuing straight, this will run right into the course.
