Designed by Robert
Trent Jones Sr. This course is vintage Robert Trent
Jones style, with long tees, and bold fairway and
green bunkering. This
solid layout is situated in the trees
and requires
good play to
achieve par, but is not too difficult for the bogey
golfer. Valencia Country Club hosted the 1998
Nissan
Open. It is the current
host of the SBC Senior Classic on the Senior
PGA Tour. From
downtown Los Angeles (about 33 miles
north to the course): Take I-5 north
to the Valencia Boulevard exit. Turn right at the
first light, North Tourney Road. Go left to the
club. Excellent layout, tough, fair, and
well-groomed.

Designed by Ted Robinson. Imagine a spectacular
island green with a waterfall. Imagine stepping up
to the tee box and having to tee off with your
putter, because that is what you will have to do
here. The Greens at Valencia is a 27-hole putting
course, complete with water and sand. Only 18
holes are used at one time.
From
downtown Los Angeles (about 33 miles
north to the course): Drive north on I-5. Take the
Valencia Boulevard exit and turn right. Make a left
on McBean Parkway. The course is right across from
the Valencia Town Center. Do putting greens bore
you? This is a great place to sharpen your putting
skills while relieving the boredom of practicing on
your local putting green. A must-play for the
serious putter.
