Designed by Algie M. Pulley, Jr. Tuscan Ridge is a
meadow course that uses creeks, ponds, and native
oaks to create its challenge. The newer back nine
has tighter fairways and is much longer Off the tee.
From within Chico: Off Highway 99, exit at
Skyway Avenue, and head east about five miles.
Hopefully, the architect, Mr. Pulley, will be back
to make adjustments because the landing areas are
awkward and most of the greens are far too severe.
In its present state, this course will be challenged
to survive.

Designed by Ted Robinson. Tustin Ranch has
undulating fairways and multi-tiered greens. There
is an abundance of sand and water, including
waterfalls. All of this contributes to making this
one of the most popular courses in Orange County. Tustin Ranch is consistently voted one of the top
three courses in Orange County by readers of the
Orange County Register. Carts are included in the
green fees. From Anaheim (about 13 miles south
to the course): Take I-5 south to Tustin Ranch Road.
Turn left and proceed one and one-half miles to
Township Drive. Turn right to the course. A
little pricey, but a solid Ted Robinson design that
will be enjoyed by golfers who like a good
challenge, fairway through green.
