Designed by William P. Bell. This is a popular, hilly, tree-lined course that is not long in yardage but strong in personality. The course favors the player with local knowledge and a bit of luck. The greens can be very tricky. From San Francisco (about 15 miles east to the course): Take I-80 east to Highway 24, toward Walnut Creek. Exit on Fish Ranch Road and head north. Turn right on Grizzly Peak. Turn right on Golf Course Road. American Golf has made many nice improvements on both the course and the facility.

Designed by Leonard Gerkins. This is a mature course with medium-sized greens and trees guarding the fairways. You will find water on about half the holes. From downtown Los Angeles (about 115 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east, exit at Gene Autry Trail, and turn right. Take another right on Ramon Road and then a left on EI Cielo Road. The course is on the right.
