Designed by Rober von Hagge, Bruce Devlin. This is
not your typical desert course. There are plenty of
elevation changes, with most greens elevated and
guarded by traps. Rolling the ball up to the green
is not an option. You will find little out-of-bounds
to get in your way, but water can be found off the
tee and on your second shot. The greens are fairly
level and crowned. Wind can be a factor.
From Mojave (about 15 miles northeast to the course):
Take Highway 14 north. Drive five miles to
California City Boulevard and head east. Travel
about nine miles and turn left on North Loop Drive.
Follow the signs to the clubhouse. A unique target-links with very elevated greens and firm
and fast faiways. Windy, but priced right and
entertaining.
