Designed by Robert Muir Graves. You will find plenty of water, excellent views, and many pine trees on this classic rolling layout. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From Reno (about 24 miles south to the course): Take US 395 south, exit at Bellevue, and turn right. Turn left at the end. Make a quick right into the entrance, which says "Lightning W Ranch." Follow the signs to the club.

Designed by Dawson & Hughes, Ted Robinson. This is a flat course with water coming into play on five holes and homes lining half the fairways. From downtown Los Angeles (about 120 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east and exit at Bob Hope. Take Bob Hope south, and turn right on Country Club Drive. The club is on the left, on the corner of Highway 111 and Country Club Drive. One of the area's oldest courses, this is a pleasant layout and its surrounding homes have changed little in the last fifty years.
