Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr, Sam Snead. This is an easily walkable executive course. There are four par 4s, and the longest hole is 340 yards. The greens can be lightning fast. From within San Diego: Off I-5, exit at Clairemont/Mission Bay and go east on Clairemont Drive. Turn right on Burgener and then left on Field. Turn right on Snead Avenue to the course.

Designed by Jay Morrish. This exclusive club boasts terrific views of the surrounding Monterey area. Since this is a very hilly site that is artistically bunkered and has smallish greens, expect Tehama to play more difficult than the yardage would suggest. From Monterey (about 15 miles south to the course): Off Highway 1, take Highway 68 east toward Salinas. Turn right on Olmstead Road. Turn left on Via Malpaso to the front gate.
