Designed by Ted Robinson. Sunset Hills is short in distance but not in challenge. The undulating fairways are flanked by trees and bordered by rough. You will encounter uneven lies on the fairways and elevated greens on some holes, which make your ability to judge distances paramount. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From downtown Los Angeles (about 44 miles northwest to the course): Take US 101 north, to Highway 23 north. Exit on Olsen Road and turn left. Turn left on Erbes Road at the flashing red light. The club is on the right.

Designed by Larry Popoff. This is a level course with one par 4 and the rest par 3s. With wind, small elevated greens, and plenty of out-of-bounds, Sunset Ridge can put up a fight. Beware of the last four holes. Carts are for seniors and handicapped only. From within Santa Maria: Off US 101, take the Betteravia exit and head west to Skyway Drive. Turn left on Skyway Drive.
