Designed by Bill Wellman. You can't spray the ball here because there is trouble on both sides on this mogul-filled course. The back nine consists of elevation changes, stone-walled lakes, and some blind shots. The valley views are excellent, but a cart is needed. They have a par-3 19th playoff hole to finish the round. From Reno (about 36 miles south to the course): Take US 395 south. Turn left on North Sunridge Drive. This eventually turns in to Long Drive. Follow this to the course. Friendly staff and consistent conditioning make this a worthwhile choice if you are in the neighborhood.

Designed by Ted Robinson. Sunrise is an executive course with wide fairways, some water and medium-sized flat greens. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From downtown Los Angeles (about 120 miles east to the course): Take the I-10 east, exit at Bob Hope, and turn right on Country Club Drive, which is past the Eisenhower Medical Center. Sunrise is on the left.
