Designed by Clark Glasson. The course features
wide fairways lined by trees and greens that can be
approached by air or land. From San Jose (about ten
miles north to the course): Go north on US 101. Exit
on South Mathilda and head over the freeway. Turn
right on Maude Avenue and then right on Macara
Avenue. For a muni course, it is in good shape and
an average-to-good player can score well. Play can
be slow, especially around the eighth hole, which
features water to the right and left of the fairway
and in front of the green.

Designed by Clark Glasson, Clark Glasson. There
are two 18-hole golf courses, the Cypress and Palm.
The Cypress is short and narrow, with sloping
greens. The Palm Course is longer and more spacious,
with hazards on nearly half the course. Wind is a
factor on both courses. Sunol Valley does not have a
driving range. Be cautious coming in and out of the
property, as the beginning holes of each course
closely adjoin the driveway. The yardage listed is
for the Palm Course. From San Jose (about 20 miles
north to the course): Take I-680 north to Andrade
Road. Make a left over the freeway to the course.
Fun layouts, but If you were expecting anything more
than typical muni golf you will be disappointed.
