Designed by Clark Glasson. A good place for beginners to take up the game, this is an executive course with two par 4s. They are often able to accommodate walk-ons. From San Jose (about ten miles north to the course): Drive north on I-280 to Sunnyvale, take the Wolfe Road exit, and head northeast toward EI Camino Real. The course is on the right, one block north of EI Camino Real.

Designed by William P. Bell. This flat, well-treed, well-bunkered course is the oldest in the San Joaquin Valley and still considered one of the very best. It is a shot-maker's course that also possesses some deceptive putting surfaces. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From within Fresno: Off Highway 99, take Kings Canyon Road east. Turn right to head south on Clovis Avenue and then turn left on Butler. The club is on the right.
