Designed by David Rainville. located over 2,000 feet above sea level, there are two courses, the Championship Course and the Executive Course. From the back tees, the Championship Course stretches out to over 7,000 yards. A classic design, Sun lakes throws no hidden punches, just good old-fashioned golf. The Executive Course is casual golf with a few sand traps and six water hazards. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From San Bernardino (about 30 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east, exit onto Highland Springs and go south. Turn left at the stop sign (Sun lakes) and then make the first right. The club is on the left.

Designed by unknown. This pitch-and-putt course is part of a complex that includes a recreation center and a pool. All day on Monday, you can play for $5. From San Diego (about 13 miles east to the course): Take I-8 east, exit onto Jackson Drive and turn right. Turn right on La Mesa Boulevard and then again right on Memorial Drive.
