Designed by unknown. This is a very hilly course
with some great views of the Silicon Valley. The
front nine is open and built on the side of a hill,
while the back nine is tighter, with water
frequently coming into play.
From San Jose (about eight miles northeast to the
course): Take I-680 north to the Jacklin Road exit
and head east to North Park Victoria. Turn left on
North Park Victoria and then right on Country Club
Drive. Frustration is the word that best describes
your first attempt at playing Summitpointe. Why?
Shots that look great off the tee will end up in
jail. Play this course a few more times and the safe
landing areas reveal themselves. By the way, the
views are magnificent.

Designed by Greg Nash/Billy
Casper. The lakes nine is open and plays among the
homes. The Oaks nine is far more scenic and
entertaining, as it veers away from the housing,
back into the trees. The Sierra Pines Course is
similar to the Lakes Course. The yardage listed is
for the lake/Oak combination. From Sacramento (about
20 miles northeast to the course): Take I-80 east to
Highway 65 north toward Lincoln/Marysville. Take the
Blue Oaks exit and head west. Turn left on Del Webb
Boulevard to the club.
