Designed by Hank Schimpeler. Club selection is key to scoring well at Spring Hills. The front nine is hilly and tight. The back nine allows more room for error and offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. Both nines feature small, elevated greens with subtle breaks. From San Jose (about 45 miles south to the course): Take US 101 south. Take Highway 152 west. Turn right at the stop sign at Casserly Road and go two miles. Turn right on Smith Road. Turn left on Spring Hills Drive.

Designed by Ray Anderson. Set in the quiet Milpitas foothills, this busy layout relies on trees and sloping greens as its primary challenges. From San Jose (about eight miles northeast to the course): Drive north on I-680 to Milpitas. Take the Calaveras Boulevard exit and drive east. The course is on the left. Over the years great strides have been made to improve the golf course, but the same can't be said for the pace of play.
