Designed by Andy Raugust. Considering that the
course is built upon deadpan flat ground, it is an
interesting, challenging layout. Ponds have been cut
out and the fill was used to provide mounding.
Spanos Park has a lighted driving range. From within

Off I-5,
exit at Eight Mile Road and head west. They moved a
lot of dirt to make a nice layout on a flat venue. I
have played here three times, and the staff was
excellent each time. The course drains
exceptionally, so it's a
good
place to come if you need your fix of golf during the
stormy season.

Designed by Jack Fleming. This
is a short, tight course with plenty of oak trees.
To score well, simply hit the ball straight and
don't read too much break in the greens. Sounds easy
enough, doesn't it? Reciprocal play with other
members-only clubs is allowed. From Modesto (about
ten miles north to the course): Take Highway 99
north to the Ripon exit. Turn east on Main Street,
left on Manley and then make a right on Spring Creek
Drive to the club.
