Designed by Robert Cupp. Huge amounts of earth were moved to make this difficult site playable. The result is an aesthetically pleasing venue with abundant bunkering and floral beds, which also serve as lateral hazards. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From Ventura (about 17 miles southeast to the course): Take US 101 south toward Camarillo. Exit at Las Posas and head north. Turn left on Ponderosa. At the top of hill, turn left on Crestview Avenue, to the club.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Spanish Trail is part of a gated community, and you will find three nine-hole courses: Lakes, Canyon, and Sunrise. All the courses are similar, with big fairways surrounded by homes, generous greens, and wind. With six holes having water, the Lakes Course is the most challenging. From the Las Vegas Airport (about eight miles west to the course): Take I-215 west to Rainbow and take a right. Turn left on Tropicana, and the entrance is on the left.
