Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. There are two
18-hole golf courses. The North Course is longer and
more straightforward. The South Course takes more
course knowledge and allows less room for error.
Both courses have plenty of oak trees, water, and
large, well-thoughtout greens. The yardage listed is
for the South Course. In 1870 General John Franklin
Miller built a stately whitepillared mansion on his
plantation. You will recognize the mansion as the
heart of Silverado Country Club. From within Napa:
Take Highway 29 north to Trancas. Turn right on
Trancas and follow the sign to Lake Berryessa,
Highway 121. Turn left on Atlas Peak Road. Turn
right at the traffic light and drive up to the
resort. Prefer the North Course for its more
traditional and interesting layout. On the South
Course, almost all the par 4s are dogleg rights and
all the par 5s are dogleg lefts.

Designed by Robert Cupp. There
are three nines (Mountain, Valley, Desert) that are
played in 18hole combinations. All the courses are
spacious, with an abundance of mounding, long par
5s, plenty of water, and views of Sheep Mountain.
Wind will be a factor. The yardage shown is for the
Mountain and Desert Course combination. The 28th
hole is a decider hole to settle all bets. From the
Las Vegas Airport (about 23 miles north to the
course): Take I-15 north to US 95 north. Exit on
Centennial Parkway and follow the signs.
