Designed by Cal Olson. Located 8,000 feet above sea level, this is a level course with narrow tree-lined fairways and excellent alpine views. The greens putt true and will reward the good putter. However, reaching the greens is another story. The smart player will sacrifice distance for accuracy. From San Bernardino (about 290 miles north to the course): Take I-15 north to US 395 north to Highway 203 west to Mammoth Lakes. Make a left on Minaret and a right on Meridian. Turn right on Sierra Star Parkway. The course is on the right.

Designed by Jack Fleming. This is a thinking person's course with rolling terrain, lots of trees, doglegs, and elevated tees and greens. To score well at Sierra View, you will need to have a deft touch on these small, crowned greens with subtle breaks. Reciprocal play with other members­only clubs is allowed. From Sacramento (about 20 miles east to the course): Drive east on I-80 to Roseville and get off at Atlantic/Eureka Road. exit. Take Atlantic to Yosemite Street and turn right. Follow to Alta Vista Drive and turn left. The entrance to the course is on the right.
