Designed by Alister Mackenzie. Situated alongside the ocean there is not much left of the original Alister Mackenzie design. The front nine proceeds inland, while the back nine runs along the ocean. From San Francisco (about 12 miles south to the course): Take I-280 south to Highway 1. Head south toward Pacifica about three miles. Take the Sharp Park Road/Fairway Drive exit, which leads directly to the golf course. Sharp Park provides some engaging ambience, even if somewhat rough around the edges.

Designed by Clark Glasson. This is a walkable course with trees, tricky geens, water and other hazards. Before you go out, you might want to ask about the pin placement for the third green. Players have been known to take five or more putts on this green. From Yreka (about three miles east to the course): Off I-5, head east on Highway 3 to Montague. Take a right on Golf Course Road. There is a sign. If you go over the Shasta River Bridge, you have gone too far.
