Designed by Robert Muir Graves. The test is bold at Seven Oaks. Sand, water, and considerable length combine with wind to push your skills to the limit on this flat layout. There are three nines, the lakes, Island, and Oaks. Reciprocal play with other member-only clubs is accepted on a limited basis. The yardage listed is for the Lakes/lsland combination.From within Bakersfield: Off Highway 99, take the Ming Avenue exit and go west. Turn left on Grand lakes Avenue, to the club.

The course is unrated. Shadow Creek Golf Club accepts tee times Monday through Thursday only. Friday through Sunday are reserved for casino patrons. A limousine takes you from your hotel to the course. This is included in your green fees. of1l Legitimately a "Top 50" course with a classic design, but not worth a king's ransom to play it.
