Designed by Jack Daray. Seabee
is a level, friendly course that will reward a good
putter. Beware of the first hole. Many a golfer with
the first-hole jitters, has busted one right into
the driving range and started their round by
re-teeing and adding two strokes. Of course you
could always just take a mulligan. Public play is
accepted, but civilians must secure a daily or
annual pass. From downtown Los Angeles (about 66
miles northwest to the course): Take US 101 north,
exit at Wagon WheelNentura Road and turn left. This
leads to Ventura Road heading west. Take at right at
the Sunkist Gate.

From the back tees, this is a long, tree-lined, real
estate development course with tricky, undulating
greens. From Irvine (about 12 miles west to the
course): Take the San Diego Freeway (I-405) north,
exit at Golden West, and head south. Head toward the
ocean about seven miles. Turn right on Palm Avenue
toward the course.
