Designed by Bob Boldock (nine holes). Santa Maria is a level layout, with fairways guarded by trees. The greens are fairly large and range from flat to undulating. Water comes into play on four holes, and there is out-of-bounds on the holes that outline the course. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From Santa Barbara (about 70 miles northwest to the course): Head north on US 101 to the Betteravia exit. Turn west and drive to Broadway, then south to Waller Lane. Turn right on Waller Lane to the club.

Designed by Leonard Gerkins. This is an executive course with a few lakes and plenty of sand. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From downtown Los Angeles (about 120 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east, exit at Cook Street, and turn right. Turn right on Frank Sinatra Drive and then left on Portola Avenue. The course is on the right.
