Designed by Dan Brown. This is short, straightaway course with level terrain. A few water holes make it interesting for the better player. From downtown Los Angeles (about 60 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east to San Bernardino. Exit at Waterman Avenue and head north. The course is on the left.

Designed by William F. Bell, William P. Bell. This popular course is a pleasant walk and not too difficult. This is an older course, but all the greens have been redone and have a modern feel. There are six greens with severe undulations. The back nine is more challenging and interesting. The best feature of the course is the ocean views. In 2002, Rainiville-Bye re-routed the 9th, 16th, and 18th to make room for more parking. They also redesigned four greens. From Irvine (about 25 miles south to the course): Take the San Diego Freeway (I-405) south to I-5 south and exit at Avenida Califia in San Clemente. Make the first three rights and then the first left to get to the course. This has to be the best course for the money in Orange County. A flattish front nine leads to roller­coaster back nine. Busy but worth the wait.
