Designed by
Carter Morrish. Saddle Creek features wonderful
views and an excellent variety of holes. Bold,
artistic bunkering and quick,
smooth greens make this the must play in the Gold
Country. Each hole is individually framed, so you
often have the feeling that you have the course a to
yourself. Discounts are available for Northern
California Golf Association members. Pull carts are
available at no extra charge. From Stockton (about
40 miles east to the course): Off Highway 99, take
Highway 4 east for 35 miles
toward Copperopolis.
Turn right on Reeds Turnpike and then make an
immediate right on to Little John Road. The course
is on the right. Improvements have been made. There
is now a luxurious new clubhouse with excellent
food, carts are allowed in most fairways, and rental
casitas have been added. Saddle Creek remains the
gold standard of the Gold Country if not beyond.
