is a tight course with water coming into play on a
third of the holes. The greens are large, with an
abundance of slope. Putting your tee shot on the
correct side of the fairway can make all the
difference. Iii From Fresno (about 12 miles
northwest to the course): Take Highway 41 north to
Avenue 12. Go east on Avenue 12 for two and one-half
miles to the clubhouse. The best public course in
the Fresno area, more playable than Brighton Crest,
less crowded than Riverside, better greens than
Sherwood Forest, and a better design than Fig
3arden. Ten-minute tee times, friendly pros, GPS
carts, and free range balls make the expense well
worth the trip.
