Designed by Jim Phipps. Located along the Tuolumne River, this is a user-friendly executive course. There are trees scattered throughout and many parallel fairways. All the par 4s are on the back nine. From Modesto (about five miles south to the course): Take Highway 99 south, and take the Hatch Road turnoff. Go east approximately two and one-half miles. The course is on the left.

Designed by William F. Bell. Hit your driver on the front nine, because there is water on six holes on the back. The greens are good sized and undulating. For the player who constantly hits left, expect your ball to land out of bounds. Wind can be a constant companion. From Ventura (about ten miles southeast to the course): Take US 101 south. Take the Vineyard Avenue exit and drive west two miles to the course. A bargain with a links-style front and a resort-style back nine. Windy, but solid conditioning. The course has five par 5s and five par 3s. Expect a crowd.
