REFLECTION BAY GOLF
CLUB

DESERT REGION
Resort
-
18
hole - cost: $150 - $260
75 Monte Lago Boulevard, Henderson,
NV 89011
Tel:
(702) 740-4653
Designed by Jack Nicklaus. The course features
plenty of elevation changes. Each nine has players
starting uphill and finishing downhill. For those
who have an aversion to water, you might want to
skip the last five holes, which play along the lake.
Finally a course where walking is allowed! Of
course, word from the pro shop is that nobody does.
Reflection Bay, the Falls Club, and the South Shore
Golf Club are all part of the Lake Las Vegas Resort.
From the Las Vegas Airport (about 19 miles east
to the course): Take I-215 east. This turns in to
Lake Mead Drive. Drive about ten miles and turn left
at the Lake Las Vegas Resort sign. There are signs
from there. This is a terrific layout, with the
only drawbacks being that a few greens are not deep
enough for the length of the approach shots, and the
price is out of reach for most golfers.

SAN DIEGO REGION
Public - 18 hole - cost: $12 - $28
2300 North Broadway, Escondido, CA 92026

Designed by Cal Olson. Reidy Creek gives you a
championship course feel and a fraction of the size.
This 18-hole executive course that plays through a
natural valley with rolling terrain. The fairways
are narrow and the greens undulating. From San
Diego: Take I-15 north to Highway 78 east. Take the
Broadway exit and head north on Broadway for three
and one-half miles. The course will be on your
right. What a great way to give the new player a
taste of what it's like to playa well conditioned
championship course without the fear or intimidation
of a full scale course.
