Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, Jerry Pate. Built
from the desert floor, the Jones course is
attractive and challenging. Great care must be taken
to avoid the numerous bunkers and water hazards.
Mature trees line the many of the fairways, making
the fairways narrower than the Pate Course. The Pate
Course is modern desert course with fewer trees and
challenging green sites. The yardage listed is
for the Pate Course. From downtown Los Angeles
(about 1 30 miles east to the course): Take the I-10
east, exit at Washington Street, and head south.
Turn left on Eisenhower to the gate.

Designed by Ted Robinson. The
three courses are the North, South, and West. None
of the courses is particularly long, but over 1,500
palm trees guard the course. All three courses can
be narrow in spots, with condos coming into play for
the golfer who has trouble hitting fairways. On
windy days you will find these courses less windy
than many of the neighboring facilities. The
yardage listed is for the South/West nines.
Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is
allowed. Bob Hope hit the first shot on opening day
in 1977. Green fees include cart and range.
From downtown Los Angeles (about 120 miles east to
the course): Take I-10 east, exit at Bob Hope
Drive/Ramon Road and head south on Bob Hope Drive.
Take the second entrance on the left. The first
entrance is for the Marriott.
