Designed by Tim Blixseth . With the Santa Rosa
Mountains as a backdrop, Porcupine Creek Golf Club
is a stunning backyard course owned by developer Tim
Blixseth. The course features an actual 19th hole.
The extra hole is to break ties. If you get an
invitation to play Porcupine Creek, directions will
not be an issue. I wonder if Mr. Blixseth's
neighbors toss errant golf balls back over the
fence, or do they keep them? I know my kids have hit
at least 200 baseballs over our fence that were
never seen again. I've dropped Mr. Blixseth my land
line, my cell phone number, my pager number, and my
wireless email address, and still haven't received
an invitation to play Porcupine Creek.

Designed by Ted Robinson. This is
a traditional course set on a hill. The fairways are
rolling, but the course is walk-able. Visually, the
fairways appear tight, but you can hit a driver on
most of the holes. The greens are medium in size and
undulating. Excellent views of the valley can be had
through out the round. From west Los Angeles
(about 23 miles north to the course): Take the San
Diego Freeway (1-405) north to Highway 118 west.
Exit at Reseda and get in the left lane to turn left
on Rinaldi. Turn right on Porter Valley Drive. The
ninth green comes into view.
