Designed by Bob Baldock. This is a flat, straightforward, user-friendly golf course. From with­in Truckee: Off I-80, take Highway 267 south. The course is at the corner of Highway 267 and Reynold Way, just past the baseball fields. If you hit Northstar, you have gone too far.

Designed by unknown, Steve Halsey (redesign). The greens are elevated and undulating. Miss the greens and you will have a challenge getting up and down. There are no hidden agendas on this layout. Originally the San Mateo Muni, this course underwent extensive renovation in 1999. From San Francisco (about 20 miles south to the course): Take US 101 south to San Mateo and exit at Poplar Avenue. Turn right on North Humboldt and then right on Peninsula Avenue to go back. over the freeway. Follow the signs to Coyote Point Drive by taking two lefts to get to the course. Short, playable, and one of very few courses in the area, Poplar is popular. Say that three times fast.
