Designed by Bert Stamps. The longest hole on the
course is a 437-yard par 5, but that doesn't mean
Phoenix Lake is easy. Hitting your driver off the
tee can be risky because the course is surrounded
by trees, and a creek runs through one-third of of
the holes.
From within Sonora: Off Highway 108, take Phoenix
Lake Road north. The course is on the left.

Designed by William F. Bell. Pico Rivera is part
pitch-and-putt, part executive course. There are two
par 4s, but the rest are short par 3s. The course
is open until 10 p.m. and has lights so you can see
(as long as you keep the ball on the course). From downtown Los Angeles (about 14 miles east to
the course): Take Highway 60 east to I-605 south.
Exit at Beverly West (Rose Hills Road) and go
straight off the exit. Turn right on Fairway Drive,
to the course.
