Designed by Greg Norman. The
Norman Course actually sits below sea level. With
its white bunkering and rugged-looking tall reed
grass that surrounds the fairways, beauty meets the
beast, or in this case the Shark. Carts and range
balls are included. Caddies are available with
advance notice. From
downtown Los Angeles (about 130 miles east to the
course); Take I-10
east, exit at Jefferson, and turn
right. Follow Jefferson for about ten miles.
Jefferson turns into PGA Blvd. Continue one mile to
the clubhouse.

Designed by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Weiskopf. The private courses consist
of the Nicklaus, Palmer, and Weiskopf. There is
nothing subtle about the Nicklaus Private Course.
Cavernous bunkers, flowers, and tall grasses are
among the challenges that can make this layout play
among the toughest of any course in the desert. The
real thrill to the Palmer Course is the holes
adjacent to the mountain. Otherwise, this is a solid
park-setting layout in a desert atmosphere. The
Weiskopf is a long course, but tee to fairway and
fairway to green, it is quite manageable. For those
who want to score well, they need to master the
large greens. The yardage listed is for
the Tom Weiskopf Private Course. From downtown
Los Angeles (about 130 miles east to the course):
Take I-10 east, exit at Jefferson, and turn right.
Follow Jefferson for about ten miles. Jefferson
turns into PGA Blvd. Continue one mile to the
clubhouse.
