Designed by Peter Hay. This is a short
pitch-and-putt course located on a small hillside,
inside the grounds of Pebble Beach. Kids 12 and
under are free. From within Monterey: Take the
Pebble Beach exit off Highway 1. Follow the signs to
the Pebble Beach gate. The guard gives further
directions from there. This course is over $300
dollars cheaper than Pebble Beach and is not quite
as challenging. Take the entire family to play here
and then go home and tell everyone back home that
you took the entire family to play Pebble.
Technically you are not lying.

Designed
by Brian Curley, Lee Schmidt. There are two courses,
the Champions and Legends Courses. The Champions
Course is open, native in appearance, with rolling
terrain and rugged bunkering. The Legends Course has
constant elevation changes and is classic in design,
with oakstudded
fairways. The yardage listed is for the Legends
Course.
From
downtown Los Angeles
(about 73 miles east to the course):
Take I-10 east to Calimesa. Exit at Cherry Valley
and head south. Turn left at Desert Lawn. The
entrance is just over a mile east. People in Los
Angeles will sit in traffic for an hour to get some
milk at the corner market and think nothing of it,
yet driving anywhere that isn't right in Los
Angeles seems too far. Make the drive, you will not
be disappointed.
