Designed by unknown. There are two courses at the Outdoor Resort. A short 500-yard par-3 course (as opposed to a long 500-yard par-3 course) and an 18-hole executive course. From downtown Los Angeles (about 115 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east. Exit at Date Palm and go to Ramon Road. Turn left at Ramon Road. The club is down about two lights, on the right.

Designed by Gary Player. There are three courses played in 18-hole combinations. They are the Carnoustie, Muirfield, and Royal Courses. This 27-hole layout features a links-like theme that unfolds through the natural terrain. The courses are cut out of canyons, so you are almost always hitting uphill or downhill to greens. Blind shots are not uncommon. Add a little wind and these courses can become downright nasty. The yardage listed is for the Carnoustie and Muirfield combination. From Irvine (about 25 miles south to the course): Take the San Diego Freeway (I-405) south to I-5 south, exit at Avenida Pico, and turn left. Go about three miles and turn right on Avenida la Pata.
