Designed by William P. Bell, William F. Bell. Small, well-bunkered greens, tightly treed fairways, and many uphill holes make this one of the region's better courses and an excellent test of your skills. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From Sacramento (about 20 miles east to the course): Drive east on I-80. Take the Madison exit and drive southeast about five miles to Mariposa. Make a right into the club.

Designed by Bradford Benz. If you want a flat lie, you're going to have to bring your own. This is a hilly, links-style course that will force you to hit shots you didn't know even existed. Be careful judging your distances, they can be deceiving. The wind can make this course downright hard. From within Reno: Off I-80 exit on McCarran Boulevard and head north. Turn left on Mae Anne and then right on Avenida DeLanda. Turn left on Beaumont Parkway, and Clubhouse Drive is on the left. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, Northgate will not disappoint.
