Designed by Robert Muir Graves. Moraga Country
Club plays among the Contra Costa Hills and housing.
The course is not easy to walk. It is very tight and
hilly in spots, level in other places, but wherever
you are, a premium is placed on accuracy. The best
way to describe this course is quirky. Reciprocal
play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From
San Francisco (about 25 miles east to the course);
Take
I-80
east to Highway 24 toward Walnut Creek. Take the Moraga
Way exit and head southeast. Go about five miles on
Moraga Way. Turn right on Saint Andrews Drive.

Designed by
Pete Dye. Moreno Valley has three courses, the
Mountain, Valley, and Lake
Courses. There are some very
demanding, scary holes at this 27-hole complex,
which includes lakes, flat and mountainous terrain,
and fast, sloping greens. Accuracy off the tee is a
must. The course was home to a Nike Tour event for
several years. The yardage listed is for the
Lake/Valley nines. Carts are mandatory and included
in green fees. From Riverside (about 15 miles east
to the course): Take Highway 60 east. Exit at Moreno
Beach Drive and turn right to head south. Turn left
on John F. Kennedy Drive. This is fun, challenging
golf, Pete Dye style.
