Designed by Ian MacDonald. Narrow fairways guarded by tall trees make the course deceptively challenging and one of the area's better nine-hole layouts. From within Modesto: Off Highway 99, exit at Tuolumne Boulevard. Head west on Tuolumne Boulevard.

Designed by Robert Muir Graves. This is a flat, easily walkable and not-too-difficult course adjoining the airfield. The biggest obstacle is noise as pilots practice landings in low-flying cargo planes. From San Jose (about ten miles north to the course): Take US 101 north. Exit on Moffett Boulevard and proceed to the main gate. The guard will give directions from there.
