Designed by Garrett Gill. This is a flat, valley course that is more fun and challenging than you would expect. Man-made lakes and mounding, combined with a natural wind, make this layout anything but a pushover. From Stockton (about ten miles north to the course): Take Highway 99 north, exit Armstong Road and head west. Turn left on Micke Grove Road. The course is at the south end of the park. Cheap and fun make Micke Grove an excellent choice if you are in the area.

Designed by David Rainville, Rainville-Bye. There are two courses at Mile Square, the Classic and the Players. The Classic Course is a traditional parkland-style course lined by trees, parallel fairways, and flattish greens. The Players Course features snug fairways, mounding, water, lots of natural brush, and greens with considerable break. The yardage shown is for the Classic Course. From Irvine (about nine miles northwest to the course): Take the San Diego Freeway (I-405) north, exit on Brookhurst, and go north. Turn right on Warner Avenue. The club is on the left. The Players Course is the easy choice between the two courses.
