Designed by Ted Robinson. There are two courses,
the Palms and Lakes course. Water plays a prominent
role on both courses. You will find the fairways
snug and the traps well positioned for errant shots.
Accurate left-to-right shots come in handy on both
courses. Carts are included in the price of green
fees. The yardage listed is for the Lakes Course.
Check their website for specials. If you want to get
a leg up on your competition, the website also gives
you hole-by-hole advice for both courses. From
downtown Los Angeles (about 83 miles southeast to
the club): Take Highway 60 east to I-15. Drive south
to the Railroad Canyon Road exit. Turn left and
travel five miles to Newport Road. Turn right on
Newport Road for about five and one-half miles. Make
a left on Menifee Lakes Drive and follow it to the
clubhouse.

Designed by Thomas Nicoll, Robert Trent Jones Jr
(redesign). Accuracy is at a premium as old oaks
line Menlo's narrow fairways. Menlo Country Club is
a short but stout test of golf and receives little
play. From San Francisco (about 30 miles south to
the course): Take I-280 south and exit on Woodside
Road. Head west, and the club is on the left.
