Designed by unknown. This is a short par-3 course with one lake and no holes over 180 yards. From west Los Angeles (about 12 miles south to the course): Take the San Diego Freeway (I­405) south, exit at Rosecrans, and go west. The hotel is visible. Make a left on Nash/Parkview Avenue. The course is behind the hotel, on the north side.

Designed by Nick Faldo, Schmidt-Curley. Set against the Santa Rosa Mountains, this is Nick Faldo's first championship design in the states. The course offers ample fairways, with bold bunkering and greens, along with subtle undulations that reward and encourage a variety of shots. Miss the putting surfaces here and your ball will invariably roll into a tightly mowed collection area or into a green-side bunker. A deft touch will be required to make par. Carts are included in the green fees. From downtown Los Angeles (about 130 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east, exit at Monterey Avenue and head south. The entrance is on the east side, about two miles down.
